This policy applies to all users of the app, including drivers and event organizers.
We collect the following information to provide the service:
· Account information: your email address, used to sign in with a one-time code
· Profile details: your username, and any avatar or bio you choose to add
· Location data: your position on the map while you are in an active caravan
· Voice audio: transmitted in real time during push-to-talk, and not stored by us
· Device information: push notification tokens used to deliver alerts
We use the information we collect to:
· Authenticate you and keep your account secure
· Show your live position to other members of your caravan
· Enable real-time voice communication during drives
· Send notifications about caravans, friends, and account activity
· Improve the reliability and performance of the app
We only access your location while you are in an active caravan. When you leave a caravan, location sharing stops.
Your location is shared with the other members of caravans you join so everyone can see each other on the map. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings, though some features will not work without it.
Push-to-talk audio is streamed in real time to the other members of your caravan. We do not record or store this audio.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
· With other caravan members, limited to your profile, position, and voice while you participate
· With service providers that help us operate the app, such as authentication, voice, and notification infrastructure
· When required by law or to protect the safety of our users
We retain your account and profile information for as long as your account is active. Location is processed in real time for live map features and is not kept as a long-term history by this app.
When you delete your account, we remove your personal information, except where we are required to retain it by law.
You can review and update your profile information in the app at any time. You may delete your account through the app settings, which removes your associated personal data.
Kervano is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
